Coleman Aero tool T002 helps aircraft mechanics check Cessna flap tracks for excessive wear. T002 is made of both stainless steel and steel to last repeated uses. The tool speeds up inspection of many Cessna flap tracks by gauging the wear limit of 0.6035”. This tool also combines a second measurement of the 10% wear limit of two common Cessna flap track thicknesses, 0.25”(172, 180, 185 etc…) and 0.16” (150 and some others). This limit is a recommendation from the Cessna engineering structures team.
This tool has dimensions etched into the surface, making inspection quick and easy.
