This axle nut wrench is designed specifically for round-style axle nuts but also works on castellated nuts. Instead of channel locks or a punch and hammer, it removes axle nuts without scratching surfaces.This tool uses a 1/8” hardened steel pin that engages one of the nut holes, with a square body that fits a range of common round axle nut diameters on certified and experimental aircraft.
Known applications: Super Cub, Carbon Cub, Piper Lance, Piper Pacer, various Piper aircraft, and many experimental Cubs. Designed to be versatile across wheel manufacturers, though it may not fit every single application.
3/8” drive hole accepts ratchets and extensions, saving time whether you are running a shop or pulling wheels once a year.
Note: This tool will also work on standard castellated nuts such as the MS21025, but it optimized for round nuts.
