Have you ever rounded off an expensive vernatherm with a crow's foot wrench because of tight access? This tool is purpose-built for 1.5" vernatherms and was developed at the request of a shop servicing Cirrus TSIO-550 powered aircraft. It's specifically designed to fit Cirrus aircraft, and will fit others as well.
How it works: The 3/8" drive hole accepts ratchets, extensions, and torque wrenches. The 12-point head allows small turn resolution in confined spaces while engaging the entire vernatherm head.
What's included: Vernatherm wrench.
Material: 1/4" thick AR500 steel to resist deforming under heavy load, tested up to 130 ft-lbs for removal.
Additional confirmed fit: Continental O-470 vernatherm, clearing the engine case. Likely fits many other 1.5" vernatherms on other Lycoming and Continental engines.
